Ready to Sleep Better?

If you’re waking up exhausted, snoring loudly, or feeling like you can’t concentrate, it may be more than just “bad sleep.” Sleep apnea is common.  Up to half of CPAP users stop using their machine because of discomfort or complexity.

If you’re one of them, we offer a different approach.

Do these sound familiar?

Your partner complains about your snoring or you’ve started sleeping in separate rooms because of it

Loud snoring or gasping during the night

Morning headaches or dry mouth

Daytime fatigue, brain fog, or mood swings

Untreated sleep apnea can increase your risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. The good news? You don’t have to struggle with a mask or noisy machine to get relief.

One of the Only Dental Offices with a Sleep PhysicianOn‑Site

Most dentists send you elsewhere for diagnosis. We don’t.

Our in‑house sleep physician handles everything from home sleep testing to diagnosis and works directly with our dental team to create a personalized, CPAP‑free plan. That means no referrals, no delays, and real answers under one roof.

Why this matters:

  • Simple Process: Test at home, review results with our doctor, and get fitted for your custom device.  All in one place.

  • Higher Adherence: Oral appliances have an adherence rate around 80 %, while CPAP compliance hovers around 40–50 %.

  • Medical & Dental Expertise: Integrated care ensures your airway and oral health are both addressed for lasting results.

How We Treat Sleep Apnea – Sleep Appliance Therapy

Custom oral appliances gently reposition your jaw and tongue to keep your airway open all night. They’re:

01

Comfortable & silent – no mask, hose, or machine.

02

Travel‑friendly – fits in a pocket for easy trips.

03

Doctor‑recommended – endorsed by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine for CPAP‑intolerant patients.

04

Highly effective for mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea, with better adherence than CPAP.

What Is Sleep Appliance Therapy?

Sleep appliance therapy uses a custom‑fit oral device, similar to a mouthguard, to gently move your lower jaw forward and prevent the airway from collapsing. It’s an excellent option for many patients who:

  • Have mild or moderate sleep apnea

  • Struggle with or refuse CPAP therapy

  • Want a discreet and comfortable solution

Is It More Than Just “Bad Sleep”?

Sleep‑disordered breathing doesn’t just make you tired. It can cause morning headaches and dry mouth; memory problems and irritability; and increases your risk of high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. Our at‑home sleep test and comprehensive airway evaluation can uncover the root cause of your symptoms and put you on the path to relief.

After doing extensive research on airway dentistry, I decided to see Dr. Sabet — and I’m so glad I did. She is highly specialized, empathetic, and truly cares about her patients. Her expertise and attention to detail are evident in every step of the process. The entire team is professional, kind, and supportive. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Sabet and her practice more highly.

I’ve been working with Developmental Dentistry for 3 months now and I have been struggling with nasal breathing my whole life and had to have nose surgery earlier this year. Dealing with this has caused me to visit more doctor offices this year than the first 24 years of my life, and this is by far my favorite place to visit. Their staff from the front desk, financial support team and specialists are exceptional and that’s why I travel over 2 hours to see them. I’m at the early stages of using my mandibular device and have completed my first set of laser treatment. Dr.Sabet and Dr.Kim were really supportive during the early stages of this process because I came to them in so much pain. Their knowledge and variety of resources and tools to help are industry leading. I’m on my third week of myofunctional training with Dr.Hamby and I’m already seeing progress. I’m really appreciative of their whole team. I would highly recommend seeing them for any breathing or facial pain issues. Prior to this year I didn’t realize how much my mouth affected my ability to breathe. They’ve been fantastic and I’m looking forward to continuing my treatment with them.

Super vulnerable post here… but if anyone else is struggling with sleep apnea/and or snoring.. please read! I have snored my entire life, never felt like I slept well and always woke up exhausted… until now. Diagnosed with sleep apnea (I knew tons about it just being in the dental field and attending courses etc) and knew I needed the cpap. As much as I wanted to, I couldn’t wear it. Not even once. Luckily, I know one of the best dentists who just so happened to have opened a practice specializing in just this! There aren’t many out there like her.. but I am so thankful to know her!! Sleep appliances also weren’t an option for me.. but nitelase and naselase was!! Super fast, no pain, no side effects and for the first time in my life NO more snoring and I can breath through my nose Evie Sabet Developmental Dentistry Dr. Julienne Sabet, DDS PLLC Thank you could never be enough!!❤️❤️

In the past, I've taken my older son to many other airway dentists in the state and finally found Dr. Sabet several years ago and never looked back! She's the best. My two boys and I have had nothing but a great experience here. They are both doing so well - their teeth look great and they're sleeping the best they ever have. Highly recommend Developmental Dentistry!

Dr. Sabet and her team are wonderful! My two older daughters are currently under her care for myobraces and an expander. My girls always enjoy their appointments thanks to the friendliness and care provided by the entire staff. My younger daughter deals with an anxiety disorder, so because of it she hasn’t been able to do X-rays at our regular dentist. Yet she was fully comfortable to let Dr. Sabet get some during her evaluation to get expanders. They’re wonderfully patient with my crew as I always have my other children with me as well. They also take the time to explain everything and answer any questions. We’ve utilized their oralase therapy service as well, which was very beneficial for my daughter.
